South Alligator Crossing

This is another section of the old road to Darwin, obviously didn't go into Darwin much in the wet because this is how deep it is in the dry!!! The water is up over the license tag, any higher and we wouldn't have made it.

I had to wade through first to make sure it is not too deep for the jeep, no depth markers here someone must have pinched them or run over them. Had to go fast and watch out for crocs, the water was clear, I could see up and down the river, I still didn't waste any time though, quick like a bunny, being chased by a croc!!!
