Sure Sign the Flood Waters Have Receded
The water is gone from the road at Gulungul but there isn't much road left. Big chunks of what used to be the shoulder on the right side are now in the gutter on the left side.

Found your comment on our blog... which was a first; don't think we've ever had comments before so thanks! Thought I'd do the same as we keep track of your blog dilligently. It is now a way of having a peep into the world we left behind and miss so much. The flooding must have been amazing! The drama of Kakadu in all its glory.
